Large, High Quality - Silver presentation badge to Wm. H. Casey by the 6th Company, National Cadets Aug. 5th 1845. We have done no research so this could be an interesting project. The badge is silver with engraved borders and a bezel set stone in the center. It measures 2.5 inches in height and width. There is an engraved silver loop on the top for attachment to a ribbon or chain. this is very unusual to have such a high quality presentation piece from the Mexican War Era.
