M 1833 Dragoon - NC Marked

M 1833 Dragoon - NC Marked.  Rare saber marked for North Carolina.  Brass guard is inspected with ORD and HKC on quillion.  Leater grip and wire are in good sound condition.  Blade is gray and shows wear from use.  Period sharpening can been seen along the blade edge.  Obverse ricasso is stamped with inspection mark WS.  Above is NP Ames Cutler Springfield 1837 in dry needle.  Reverse blade has United States with foliate in dry needle.  Scabbard has a dark brown patina with split rings and several dings and dents from field use.  Drag is also marked North Carolina on the obverse side.
