Size: 34.25 inch blade  Condition:  

Original brown color grip just the way it started. Most turned dark due to oil  but this one still shows it's original hue. The guard is stamped WS on the quillon. The grip is wrapped with dragoon twist brass wire. The mirror bright blade is dry needle etched N.P. Ames / Cutler / Springfield / 1837 and stamped with W.S.inspector marking. The reverse is dry needle etched with United States and has foliate beneath. The iron scabbard  has split carry rings and a WS on the drag.
